Open data and sources
Here you can download the map points that come from open data and reuse them without an account, following the licence shown below. Partner-business and local-service cards are not in the file.
Download
Download the points (JSON file)
The file contains 970 points. Another 19 points are on the map but not in the file: they are our own cards or come from sources that do not allow redistribution. The 0 points reported broken are also included, with the date of the report.
Licence
The derived database is Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. You may use, modify and redistribute it. You must attribute OpenStreetMap where applicable and release any derived database under the same licence.
970 records contain OpenStreetMap data, under ODbL 1.0 with attribution to © OpenStreetMap contributors.
0 records contain Wikidata data, under CC0 1.0; they are not attributed to OpenStreetMap.
If your business is in the guide, its data does not become open data.
What this file contains
- Water: 150
- Toilets: 36
- Study: 54
- See: 308
- Services: 147
- Green: 275
How fresh it is
Every point has its own check date.
- checked recently: 970
- due for a re-check: 0
- not checked recently: 0
What “verified” means here
A point is “verified” when somebody checked the source or went on site. 970 points are confirmed from their source, 0 from an on-site check. The 0 points reported broken carry the date of the report. Dates are always the real ones, even when old.
Sources
- OpenStreetMap
The 0 points that come only from fontanelle.org are on the map, with the source credited, but not in the file.
Public Wi-Fi: 19 places with a documented service, 19 of them from the Comune di Livorno network and 0 from other operators. A place is where the service is, not an access point: this is not a survey of radio coverage.
What we give back
When a correction is checked on site, we will also publish it on OpenStreetMap, so it will be useful to everyone.
Found a mistake?
The “Works? No” button is the fastest way to tell us: it is on everything that can break, namely fountains, toilets, study spaces, parks and useful services. It is not on monuments. You can also correct the point directly on OpenStreetMap: we will see it too at the next update.
