PerDiQua app · version 0.1.0
App privacy
The app stores preferences and saved places on your device. This page explains the information the PerDiQua app uses and what changes when you open a link or contact us.
Which version this covers
This notice covers the PerDiQua 0.1.0 native app for Android and iOS. Its available features work without an account. Maps and catalogues included in the app are viewed locally; the privacy notice included in the app is also readable offline.
The controller is RUMBA S.r.l., VAT number 02560150506. Contact info@perdiqua.com with questions or requests about your data. This page covers the app’s current features, not features that may be added later.
Registered office: Via Bonanno Pisano 50, 56126 Pisa (PI), Italy. Certified email (PEC): rumbasrl@pec.cloud.
What stays on your device
The app stores your selected city, language and up to 50 saved places per city. For each saved place it stores the place reference, city and date saved. This helps you find your choices again: the data is not sent to a RUMBA profile or synchronised with saved places on the website. Searches, filters and open map groups remain in session memory.
Saved places refer to the catalogue; they are not a history of your movements. This version does not request your GPS location or enable remote accounts, payments, usage analytics or advertising profiling. Directions open Google Maps with the place destination, without sending a starting location detected by the app.
Managing and removing your choices
You can remove a place from Saved and change the city or language in the app. Preferences and saved places remain in local storage until you change them or clear app data using your device tools. There is no remote account to delete.
Uninstalling the app or changing phones could lose your choices. Any backups depend on the operating system and its settings; they are not synchronisation managed by RUMBA. Use your device or backup service settings to manage backup copies. Protection of local data also depends on your device’s security and access settings.
When you open a link
Guides, events, sources and other online pages open when you choose them, through the browser or app selected by the operating system. A link may contain the city, selected place or page, and language. Website links use HTTPS and need a connection.
The destination website or service may receive the requested address and technical connection data, such as your IP address, as well as anything you choose to submit. Google Maps and other services apply their own notices and settings. Phone and email buttons open the relevant applications; they do not automatically call or send messages. This notice does not describe all processing by the operating system or external services.
If you email us
If you choose to send an email to info@perdiqua.com, RUMBA receives your address, the content and any attachments. It uses them to read and handle your request and reply. Writing to us is optional; it is not required to view maps and catalogues in the app.
The legal basis is RUMBA’s legitimate interest in handling contacts received and providing the assistance requested (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). For privacy rights requests and compliance with legal obligations, the basis is a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)). Messages are processed by authorised people and the email services needed to receive and reply to them.
Direct correspondence is separate from website forms: the 180-day and 30-day periods below do not automatically apply to the email inbox. We retain messages until the request and any clarification are handled; beyond that, only what is necessary for legal obligations or protection of a legal right, for as long as that need requires. Use the same contact for information about your message or to request its deletion.
If you use website services
The PerDiQua website and its forms are services separate from the app’s local data. If you submit a request on the website, the contact details and content you provide are processed to handle it. The city notices describe the purposes, legal bases, providers, any transfers and applicable conditions.
The website notice provides for 180 days for the request and correspondence after the last actual exchange, or receipt if there was no exchange; opening or updating the record does not restart the period. For notifications never attempted, it provides for 30 days after creation; for delivered notifications, 30 days after the first delivery check. Conditions and other cases are in the city notices. These periods do not cover local saved places and do not confirm that every deletion has already occurred.
This page is also served by the website through Vercel. The IP address, requested URL and technical connection parameters are used to deliver the page and protect the service. The legal basis is RUMBA’s legitimate interest in website availability and security (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). The page does not read the app’s saved places and contains no forms, analytics tools or scripts.
Vercel’s documents distinguish data processed on behalf of customers under the applicable DPA from data for which the provider acts as a controller under its own notice. They describe processing in the United States and other countries and European standard contractual clauses for transfers to which they apply. The provider’s notice describes retention criteria for data it processes as a controller. You can contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to the service you used.

Your rights and how to contact us
For personal data processed by RUMBA, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, portability under Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Write to info@perdiqua.com describing your request and the service concerned.
RUMBA does not hold a copy of your local saved places to retrieve or edit for you: you can manage them in the app or with your device tools.
