Requesting or renewing a ZTL/ZSC permit
Requests for and renewals of the ZTL/ZSC permit (contrassegno) for residents go through the portal indicated by the Comune. Submitting the application and its acceptance are separate steps.
Open the residents' service
Use "Accedi al servizio" on the Comune's page for residents and log in with one of the accepted login methods.
Prepare the application
For a first request, check the documents for the driver and the vehicle. For a renewal, update your profile and check the situation in the "Storico" section.
Wait for the outcome
Check the messages and the status of your application. If required, go ahead with the payment requested by the office and the instructions for the permit.
Still to be checked
- Do not drive into the ZTL (limited traffic zone) on the assumption that the application alone counts as authorisation. Conditions, zone and fees depend on the application.
