First steps as a resident of Livorno

1. Residence and documents: the Comune

   For a change of residence and the identity card, start from the website of the Comune di Livorno: look there for the procedure, the required documents and how to book. If your case is not clear, ask the offices listed on the site directly.

2. Family doctor: Regione Toscana

   The Regione Toscana page "Scegliere il medico di base" explains how choosing a doctor works and whom to contact. Read it carefully if you are not yet a resident or if your move is in progress: the conditions depend on your situation.

3. Waste: AAMPS and the Comune

   On the AAMPS website, look for how collection works in your area and where to take what does not go in the bins. To activate the waste tax for your new home, also check the Comune's instructions.
